I just donated yesterday and today i can see that i was assigned the "donated a long time ago" badge.
Why is this? Can someone look into it?

Perhaps the donation date was mistyped hence resulting in the incorrect badge assignment.

Right now, we are implementing a system that 'nearly instantly' updates donator data and issues donator badges based on daily PayPal reports.
But as you noticed .. its not done yet .. sorry ..

Is done .. sorry for the delay ..
No problem at all. I got the donator badge but upon checking my user profile i do not see my Donator license code hence when running WebGrab++ it shows me as a registered_user :(
PS: I ran a fresh copy of WG++ to initiate a grab new licence data without avail.
Am i missing something here or should the donator license code be displayed under my user account?

Yes forcing a license check solved it. Thanks, couldn't find any documentation around regarding the new implementation of licensing and decryption keys. Guess this will be available later on in the downloads/docs section.

it's not automatic, you have to wait data are synced (takes 1-2 days), in the meantime have look to documentation on how to set config or in MISC folder of siteini pack there is a sample
