Strange characters, iso-8859-2 not supported in mdb?

I'm working on my mdb file for port.hu to translate some films.

Everything is working except the iso-8859-2 charset, I'm receiving characters like:

A megszokott, ltvnyos klssgek kztt zajlik az j esztend kszntse New York knai negyedben.

óőúéáű are not suppoerted.

Here the site line from my mdb file:

site {url=port.hu|cultureinfo=hu-HU|charset=iso-8859-2|matchfactor=60|searchsite=port}

Tried with UTF-8, but the same results.

The site from port.hu uses iso-8859-2

I appreciate if someone could help me to solve it.

Thanks.

I will check it   ..
Send me the mdbini you are using ,  the xmltv input file and the mdb.config.xml.

Don't know where you get the "no solution" info, because it is working.

A beta (V1.56.24) was released where a bug was fixed and a new feature added.

You need to change your mdb.ini and add 2 charsets (if these are different for primary search and mdb search)

So

charset=iso-8859-2

if both are in that

charset=utf-8,iso-8859-2

if primary is in utf-8 and the mdb is in iso-8859-2

Did a quick test here and this seems to work perfectly.
