When I apply the example config file this works. when I try the modified config file it throws errors, I have tried to match the line with the Dummy file but no idea, I copied the channels m the site.ini pack.
I have attached logs config and site ini pack zip.
Remove from channel list the The ' ' character, Line 23, position 10.
apologises I am completely new to this. I figured out how to identify line, is position same as column?
after google search I figured out what you meant. Thank you that has resolved the issue. But I have ran into another issue, where I have set the timespan to 6 but it still only downloading the current day epg only.
help guys i can't figure this error out?
last channel line seems wrong site="tvpassport.com" site_id="138"
xmltvid should be the same of channel name
thanks for your reply will try to remove that last channel and see what happens.
yea i removed the entire line for that channel still same error.
as the error suggests you have a blank channel name.
its at line 204.

once you fix that your going get alot messages about duplicate xmltv_id's
every channel line must have a unique xmltv_id,the display name can be the same.
the reason is the xmltv_id is usually used to match the epg to the tvg-id from your m3u.
if you have duplicate xmltv_id's there is no way to know what epg is for which channel in you m3u.
Is there a way to auto remove duplicate’s? Also thanks your a life saver I knew it was the channel needing a name, but I couldn’t locate witch one. My eye sight ain’t what it was. Thanks again!
it has to be done manually.
least your log will tell u where the duplicates are.
j had another look at your config.
i noticed your grabbing epg for many SD and HD channels.
you dont need to grab the epg twice, for example..

The Weather Channel

The Weather Channel HDTV

the epg is exactly the same for both channels(most SD and HD channels are although sometimes HD programming is different but its not vey common).
webgrab can copy the epg,see channel offset..
http://webgrabplus.com/documentation/configuration/webgrabconfigxml#conf...
this is intended for channel like UK which have many +1 +2 channels(time shifted) but it can be used to copy the epg for SD/HD channels.just use a offset of zero.

The Weather Channel

The Weather Channel HDTV

the same_as channel line must be after the original line that grabs the epg, webgrab cant copy epg that hasnt been grabbed yet.
doing this will reduce your epg grabbing time considerably.
you can copy the same epg as many times as needed, say u had a SD,HD and a HD backup.just add as more same_as channel lines.
